The Municipal Library “Iskra” is one of the libraries, which received financial support from “Global Libraries Bulgaria” Foundation on a project for establishing its Information Center. The library expressed its gratitude to Snejana Ianeva for her service and mission with a publication at its Facebook page and a link to “Snejana Ianeva” Memorial Website.

Regional Library “Prof. Benio Tsonev”- Lovech also took part in the celebration of Snejana Ianeva’s life and work. In our profile in Facebook we published information in Bulgarian and in English about the celebration of Snejana Ianeva’s birthday. She is to all of us an example with her profound sense of honesty and justice, with her energy and professional dignity. We set a link to “Snejana Ianeva” Memorial Website.
During the Memorial week (6-14 March) on the occasion of Snejana Ianeva’s birth on March, 8th, Library “Rodina” in Stara Zagora named after her the American Information Corner at the library. The establishment of the Corner under her guidance attracted tech equipment, attention and investments in the development of our library.

A silver spruce was planted at the University of Library Science and Information Technology (UniBIT) in honour of the long-time president of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association (BBIA) and librarian Snejana Ianeva.
