Memorial week on the occasion of Snejana Ianeva’s birth date in Haskovo
Within the framework of the Memorial Week for Snejana Ianeva (06-14 March 2021) the Regional Library “Hristo Smirnenski” celebrated the anniversary of her birthday with a publication in its library site, in its Facebook page and on an electronic information board in the central foyer of the library.
Her colleagues reminded in the publication that on 02.03.2007 at the opening of the Information Center at the Regional Library “Hristo Smirnenski” in Hskovo John Byerly - the USA Ambassador to Bulgaria at that time - called Snejana a “National Treasure”. During the years after that, this name was repeated by colleagues and dignitaries at forums in our country and abroad and became associated with Snejana on many occasions.
