A Portrait of Snejana Ianeva in the museum

The Historical Museum in Dimitrovgrad has placed the portrait of Sneja in its collection next to the portrait of her great-great grandfather Iani Damianov, the first Mayor after the liberation from the Ottoman Empire of the village, which is the basis of the present city. The caption below the portrait reads: SNEJANA IANEVA – THE FIRST DESCENDANT OF IANI DAMIANOV, BORN IN DIMITROVGRAD AND RECEIVED WORLD RECOGNITION AS A BULGARIAN ENLIGHTENER AND LEADER OF BULGARIAN LIBRARY MANAGEMENT.
