Colleagues and friends from Vienna, Brussels and Berlin

She loved to attend opera performances in Europe, that is why her colleagues decided to place a bouquet of Bulgarian red roses in front of the Vienna Opera House, Christmas ornaments with a memorial inscription in front of the National Opera of Belgium in Brussels and a small Bulgarian flag and a national ornament given to them by Sneja in front of the Berlin Opera.

Messages in memory of Sneja in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean

On the other side of the Atlantic, in Boston, colleagues who have visited Bulgaria released the following message in the ocean, sealed in the cover of a book, that will not pollute the water: „In loving memory of Snejana Ianeva, a woman of the world, who made Bulgaria famous anywhere she visited”

A Christmas wreath in her memory under the Golden Gate Bridge

In San Francisco, a Christmas wreath was laid in her memory in the waters of the Pacific Ocean under the Golden Gate Bridge. 

Yacht and memorial garden named after Sneja

A memorial garden with roses and forget-me-nots will be planted in the yacht port of Point Richmond, and a yacht will be named after Sneja on December 26th.

Roses and yellow magnolia blossoms in the waters of the Potomac and Seine rivers

Roses in memory of Sneja were dropped in the waters of the Potomac River by colleagues of hers from the US capital, Washington DC, and friends laid yellow magnolia blossoms in the waters of the river Seine in Paris.

Yellow Magnolia is Sneja's favorite flowering tree. It is rare in Bulgaria, but beautiful yellow magnolias grow in the garden of the “Ivan Vazov” National Library in Plovdiv and in the garden of Sneja's birthhome in Dimitrovgrad.

A Library in Florida dedicated a Memorial page to Sneja

A library in the State of Florida in the US has a program called EPOCH Legacies. It created a Memorial Page for Snejana Ianeva. The program dedicates memorials to people from Florida and all over the world and now Sneja is among them.
